Quotes & Links from the Interview

“I want to do it, but I cant just do it, I have to do this and that first”

What was referred to by “this and that” was often, he said, ideas formed as a result of the state of the industry, or rather the perception of it by artists. Instead you can just do the work itself most of the time.

“The industry creates this idea that people post a video on youtube and it blows up and everyone says this is the most beautiful thing we have ever seen - thats bad, it creates the idea that things happen so easily, when the struggle is what makes things real.”
