BUILDING A TRACK
COMES WITH PATTERN COMPOSING TECHNOLOGY
Think of SyncPlay mode as a background sync’er when you are playing patterns. What happens when you normally play a sample in Kontakt (by keyboard or MIDI). It starts the corresponding sample at sample start and plays as long as you hold the key.
Now, in SyncPlay mode, when you play a sample (by keyboard or MIDI) and if there’s another sample already playing, the new sample will start playing at a synced position allowing you to compose while playing and add detailed gestures from patterns.
MASTER PANELS & KEYBOARD
Play & Mod panels will help you further shape, tune and modulate the patterns to better fit into your mixes.
The yellow keys are patterns to play and blue keys are tuning options and the red keys are ready to live switch sections. Have fun!
What are the tuning options for Themes?
Origins themes all come with 3 native root key options, different for each theme. You can further tune the themes with the tune knob but tuning quality may differ (we recommend up to 2 semitones). About half of all patterns are percussive (non-tonal), so these can be used for all keys in your tracks.
Can Origins be used with your own tracks?
Yes, you can build complete tracks with Origins using different themes and sections or add elements to your existing tracks (see Building a Track demo).
